Phạm Duy Đăng is a Ho Chi Minh City cartoonist and illustrator known as Mớ. His style ranges across various graphic novel and cartoon styles and he does both single image illustrations and small cartoon strips. He works with graphic design software but goes basic for his sketching for which he uses pencil and ink. Đăng works as the art director of an advertisement agency and does freelance illustrations for various magazines. To see more of his work follow him on Facebook.
Helena Lindholm is a versatile illustrator. Her work includes satirical caricatures, cartoons, court drawings and children’s book illustrations. She draws in a variety of styles and by her own account is always up for new challenges in her work. She believes images have the power to spread messages and really make them stick. Living and working in her native Sweden Helena’s work is featured in various newspapers and magazines. Facing the Climate features Vietnamese and Swedish cartoonists’ take on and reaction to climate change. The exhibition is a collaboration between Manzi and the Swedish embassy and will open on 28 September 2015 and be on display until 2 October 2015.
