No Sorrow for Hanoi

By andofotherthings · On 28 Jan, 2016

Shooting the city with Lomography

Ha Noi Street Life is a beautiful ode to the city. The experimental, faulty nature of the funky plastic Lomography cameras used for this series make the familiar subject feel fresh and unstaged.

The imperfections of the tools proof perfect to capture Hanoi’s essence. The photos were taken by aspiring photographers who attended Maika Elan’s workshop given as part of her No To Sorrow exhibition at the Goethe Institute Hanoi.
