Nguyễn Đình Hoàng Việt

Nguyen-Dinh-Hoang-Viet-choir

‘According to curator Trần Luong, Việt is a gentle and humble young man, I have not met him yet. His work evokes the imagination, carefully juxtaposing gentle techniques with morbid imagery. The viewer is left with a peaceful feeling, despite looking at images of destruction and decay. Việt’s work is very detail orientated and he often paints on everyday, easily discarded surfaces like cardboard and newspaper.’

Nguyễn Đình Hoàng Việt lives and works in Hue. His work is garnering more and more attention and has Vietnam’s art world buzzing with excitement for things to come.
