Lập Phương

‘She is a sculptor with a background in architecture. It is the scale of her artwork, for which she uses metal and iron and that she is producing such strong work, despite being quite young, that got her into the selection. You look at her work and ask yourself where she will be ten years from now, if she is already here right now. Her work is feminist. It conveys fragility with a strong sense of self.’

Lập Phương lives and works in Hanoi. She has participated in various group exhibitions in Hanoi over the last two years. Her work was also shown at International Art Festival Sasaran in Malaysia.
