Design Spot: The very talented Tang Yau Hoong
Tang Yau Hoong, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Kuala Lumpur, has an impressive client list. His distinctive style is much in demand and has been used widely, featuring in publications such as The Observer Magazine, New Scientist and Wired as well as in ad campaigns for big corporates including Nike, Vodaphone, Land Rover and Gap.
& Of Other Things loves his simpler personal pieces- two or three colour, lo fi, screen print style – particularly in his project ‘The Art of Negative Space’ which meld together two concepts and images, creating one beautiful whole. Many of these are available to buy as signed limited edition art prints or as t-shirts and other merchandise.
