Don’t miss seeing Hanoi’s newest band strut their trumpet punk stuff on the big stage.
They had a trumpet, just like they promised. And then they had so much more. Challenging sounds, the return of a beloved bass player, a fierce front woman who cleared the stage lest she kick anyone off it during the set, and full on energy of the punk kind. Truly XAI made a smashing debut at Quest 2014.
If you missed this refreshing addition to Hanoi’s music scene, then you best make sure you don’t do the same on 24 May when they will return to the stage as one of Vietnam’s line up at ASEAN Pride. XAI is still fine-tuning and polishing what they’re all about and this is the unique chance to experience a band in the making.
The band will take the ASEAN stage at 2:45pm. They will also be playing at the Fantashtique Festival on 6 June and at an Onion Cellar event on 27 June, both at Hanoi Rock City.
